Final: Celtics 126, Raptors 123 (OT) - Tatum wins it at the buzzer
BOSTON CELTICS (10-3) vs TORONTO RAPTORS (2-11)
TD Garden, 8 p.m. - NBCS Boston
Line: Boston -15.5
INJURIES
Boston: Kristaps Porzingis (OUT, ankle), Jrue Holiday (OUT, knee)
Toronto: Scottie Barnes (OUT, Orbital fracture), Bruce Brown (OUT, knee), Kelly Olynyk (OUT, back), Immanuel Quickley (OUT, elbow) Ja’Kobe Walter (OUT, shoulder)
THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR
1. Better start: I’m not changing this until they start games better. The Raptors are not good, but they try very hard. The Celtics will have to match that energy early.
2. Attack: The Raptors defense is terrible. That means the Celtics need to at least probe it and force Toronto into some kind of rotation. From there, the Raps will make mistakes and the Celtics can capitalize. I'm not saying don’t take 3-pointers. I’m saying apply some pressure by driving and see how it goes.
3. Keep Gradey Dick in check: He’s one of the few bright spots for this Raptors team. So let’s not let him get going like he did in the preseason. He’s basically the one guy to focus on defensively. Don’t lose him.
Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
