Final: Celtics 120, Toronto 118 - Celtics cough up lead, but White saves them down the stretch
BOSTON CELTICS vs TORONTO RAPTORS
7:30 p.m. - NBC Sports Boston
Line: Boston -5.5
INJURIES
Boston: Kristaps Porzingis (OUT, left calf injury management), Al Horford (OUT, rest), Jayson Tatum (OUT, left ankle sprain)
Toronto: Garrett Temple (OUT, ankle), Christian Koloko (OUT, illness)
THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR
1. Who steps up: With three of the top six out, there will be plenty of opportunity for someone to make a big impact. Will it be Sam Hauser or Payton Pritchard? Or will someone who doesn’t usually play much get a chance to put up some numbers?
2. Jaylen Brown as primary scorer: He gets to cook a little more than usual, but his strength lately has been getting off the ball early and moving it. How much does he look to get his own versus continuing to move it?
3. Fresh legs: Normally I’d be iffy on the back-to-back, but Brown didn’t play yesterday. Neither did Luke Kornet, and he’ll likely get a big opportunity here. There might be a couple of others who either didn’t play or had limited opportunity who will get a chance tonight, so this might not be the typical fatigued kind of night for Boston.
Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
