Things I'm looking for:
C'mon Joe, tip your hand: Okay, THIS time, we actually are going to see everyone. Joe Mazzulla confirmed that at practice Monday, and he's looking forward to seeing where they all stand.
"The more we can get them on the floor together, just working together and feeling each other out, from a connection standpoint, but, like I said, during training camp, we've been able to really, really do that with practice in trying to simulate game-like situations in there," he said. "I’m confident where those guys are at from a connectivity standpoint, because of how hard they worked in in training camp."
Let's see it. Let's see some chemistry. Let's see some combinations at work. Let's see who subs in with the main guys. Let's see who starts and who finishes.
Bench production: I'm not getting wrapped up in any big preseason performances achieved without any of the starters on the floor. It's nice to see and I hope it carries over, but I need to see it happen with the main guys on the floor like it woud in regular season games.
Defensive connectivity: I want to see guys covering for one another and communicating. I think they're further ahead offensively than they are defensively. Let's see if they can even things out.
Follow along for my thoughts during the game. They'll appear down below and in the comments section.
