THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR
1. Injured Jays: Jayson Tatum seems fine, but let’s just keep an eye on that ankle. Jaylen Brown looked good in the last game, but he’s more of a long-term concern. I just want to make sure they're moving well.
2. Attacking their lack of size: I’m guessing there will be a heavy dose of double-bigs, even with Al Horford out. Neemias Queta hasn’t played much lately, but this might be a game where he gets some opportunity. I expect to see Tatum attacking Bismack Biyombo so much that we start to feel bad for him.
3. Stephon Castle: Spurs fans think they hit big on this kid. He’s a tall guard who can get downhill. I don’t think he’ll beat the Celtics, but he might make their lives harder than expected.
4. Baylor Scheierman: With Horford and Pritchard out, he’ll be called upon to do a lot off the bench. This is a nice opportunity for him to show more of what he has. He just needs to play within himself and not try to do too much … all while being aggressive. It’s a fine line, but he has to walk it.
Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
