THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR

1. Crash the glass: The Nets allow the highest offensive rebound percentage in the league, and Boston is seventh in offensive rebound percentage. This is the a chance to do to the Nets what the Rockets did to Boston. Attack the glass and blow this game open with second chance points.

2. Finish at the rim: The Celtics have had some issues converting in the restricted area, which is another weakness for the Nets. Brooklyn allows the third-most shots in the restricted area, so the Celtics can get to the rim if they want. But they have to attack strong and finish. Of course, we’ve already established the putbacks will be there, but I’d prefer they finish their layups and save the second chances for their jumpers.

3. Keep the roll going: One thing I want to see most is a nice offensive flow that leads to good looks and a strong shooting percentage from the main guys. We’re seeing Payton Pritchard and Derrick White round into form. Those guys have actually been playing pretty well outside of the shooting, so if we can see some of that come around more consistently, the Celtics can go on a little bit of a run.

Follow along with my thoughts as the game goes on. They’ll show up below and in the comments section, so hop in and share your opinion as well.
