THINGS I’M LOOKING FOR
Contain point-LeBron: The Lakers made a lineup change that puts LeBron at the point, and against OKC, he dropped 40/7/7 on 13-20 shooting and a perfect 5-5 from 3. The scouting report remains the same for LeBron: make him nothing more than a scorer. That means don’t overreact to his runs or 3-point makes. Just stay home on the other guys and hope that LeBron punches himself out.
Own the glass: Keeping Davis and the Lakers off the offensive glass might be the difference in this game. When LeBron does actually miss, make sure to clear the boards and get out in transition.
Flow through Porzingis: Pull Davis away from the rim and then attack. Move the ball and take advantage of holes that will open up.
Tatum taking over: Christmas day versus LeBron on ABC … are we getting 50-point Tatum or 3-14 from 3 Tatum?
