PREGAME NOTES
Jeremy Swayman will make his season debut for the Bruins after Linus Ullmark made 20 saves in a 3-1 win during Wednesday's season-opener against Chicago.
The Bruins are expected to stick with the same lineup as Wednesday, with Jim Montgomery saying he'd like to give the lines time to build chemistry.
"That's the way I envision handling it, let them play it out and have the opportunity to make more plays with each other," he said Thursday. "But as the game goes on, I find in the third period, you've to trust your gut no matter what's going on. And if you see an opportunity to get someone in a position where you think two players are clicking, and they could click right there, I think you got to do that in the third. We'd be more patient in the first and second."
Juuse Saros is expected to get the nod for the Predators, who could be without Luke Schenn for the second straight game. Saros made 23 saves in a 3-0 win against the Kraken on Thursday.
