PREGAME NOTES

No expected lineup changes for the Bruins, who roll out the same roster that beat the Lightning on Tuesday night at TD Garden.

Jim Montgomery has yet to name a starter in net.

The reigning Stanley Cup champions still boast plenty of elite talent both up front and on the blue line, but the Avs are pretty banged up at the moment — with key cogs like Landeskog, Nichushkin, Byram, Rodrigues, Manson all currently on the mend.

Still, it’s tough to count out any team that still has a top line featuring both Nathan MacKinnonn and Mikko Rantanen — and a D corps anchored by Cale Makar.

One key for the Bruins tonight will be staying out of the sin bin — as the Avs boast the top-ranked power play in the league with a 33.8 percent success rate.
