The Bruins start a quick two-game road trip in Detroit to face the Red Wings in an Original Six matchup at 5 p.m. Boston sent down Ian Mitchell to Providence. 

Jake DeBrusk has now recorded multi-point games in the last two wins. Pavel Zacha will play in his 500th career game in Detroit today for the Bruins. 

Boston faces a Detroit team that ranks third in the NHL in goals for (129) and 26th in goals against (123). The B's will have their hands full on the road on a back-to-back against an electric Detroit offense. The Bruins will have to keep an eye on Alex DeBrincat who paces the Red Wings with 17 goals on the season and leads in points with 37. Dylan Larkin is not far behind with 13 goals and 30 points on the year. Detroit enters today coming off a 5-4 overtime win over Nashville on Friday night, ending a two-game skid. Alex Lyon is scheduled to start in net for the Red Wings.
