FINAL: Coyotes 4 , Bruins 3 (OT) - Bruins fall in OT after great scoring chances, Ullmark and Poitras leave with injuries
The Bruins fell to the Arizona Coyotes by a score of 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday night. Boston played flat throughout the game which let Arizona stay in it. Linus Ullmark left the game in overtime with an injury leaving Jeremy Swayman to take over in goal. Matt Poitras also left the game in the third period and did not return either.
The first period wasn’t pretty as Boston was outshot 12-6 and didn’t do a great job on puck control and forechecking. However, the Bruins took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission with a goal from David Pastrnak on the power play 4:41 into the game.
The Coyotes tied it at one at the 8:12 mark in the second period thanks to a Clayton Keller goal on the man advantage. Jesper Boqvist scored his first Bruins goal:50 later to give Boston a 2-1 lead.

Pastrnak had two breakaway chances in overtime that he missed. Right after the second missed shot, Arizona came down the other way and Nick Schmaltz scored the game winner which was the first shot the Coyotes took on Swayman.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:
- Bruins get a point for second straight night despite loss.
- Would think back-to-back played into some of Boston's performance tonight.
- Will have to keep an eye on the status of Ullmark and Poitras who both left the game with injuries.
- Pastrnak has to score on one of those breakaway scoring chances in OT.
