PREGAME NOTES
The Bruins have won seven in a row entering the regular season finale (9-1-0 in their last 10), following a 5-2 win over Washington at home on Tuesday.
Boston, who held an optional skate, is expected to have a mostly full lineup for a final regular season tune-up.
Linus Ullmark did not make the trip out of precaution after leaving in the third period of Tuesday's win, but Jim Montgomery said Ullmark is expected to skate tomorrow. Montgomery said Tuesday and Wednesday that Ullmark will be fine. Jeremy Swayman will start, and Brandon Bussi will back up after being recalled from Providence on an emergency basis on Wednesday.
It will be David Krejci's seventh game in a row out of the lineup, but Montgomery said Wednesday he expects him to be ready for the playoffs. Tomas Nosek will not play. He missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness. Derek Forbort and Nick Foligno have resumed skating in regular practice jerseys, but neither will be back before the postseason.
Montreal did not have a morning skate Thursday, coming off the first half of a back-to-back to finish its season. They lost 4-2 at the New York Islanders on Wednesday. Sam Montembault made 31 saves against the Isles.
The Canadiens are 3-7-0 in their last 10, dropping two straight.
