Final: Boston Red Sox 8, Phillies 6 - Red Sox comeback in the 5th inning to defeat the Phillies after being down 4-0

Trevor's Game Notes:

Rough start: Nick Pivetta started the game for the Red Sox, making his 2nd career start against his former squad. He pitched 4 innings allowing 4 runs in this game. In the 1st inning, Pivetta allowed the 1st 3 batters to reach base, struggling with command. Cam Booser would pitch in relief for Pivetta, who received the win for this game.

Mid-Game Comeback: After being down 4-1 in the 5th inning, the Red Sox would take the lead. David Hamilton starts off the inning with a single followed by a Cedanne Rafaela double. Duran would then clear the bases with a 2-run RBI single turning the score 4-3. After a sac fly from Tyler O'Neill to tie the game, Enmanuel Valdez would pinch hit for Jamie Westbrook and hit a 2-run RBI double to put the Red Sox on top. 

The Red Sox continued the offensive serge in the 6th inning with a 2-run homerun to turn the game 8-4.

Prospect Shane Drohan is back with the Red Sox six months after they lost him to the White Sox in the Rule 5 Draft. Drohan is not part of Boston’s 40-man roster. He likely will be sent to Triple-A Worcester but that has yet to be decided. The Red Sox also have not yet decided whether they will use Drohan as a starter or reliever, a club official said.
