 PREGAME NOTES

The Bruins could be without Brad Marchand and Craig Smith for at least 10 days, with the B’s wingers entering COVID-19 protocol on Tuesday. 

With Marchand’s COVID status announced after morning skate, we should get a more concrete idea of Boston’s top-six grouping once warmups take place around 6:30 p.m. 

Both Brandon Carlo and Tomas Nosek will return to the lineup after missing multiple games with a lower-body injury and non-COVD illness, respectively. Nosek will center the third line, while Carlo will skate on Boston’s second D pair with Matt Grzelcyk. 

With Carlo back, Mike Reilly will be scratched for Tuesday’s game — with John Moore skating on the third D pair with Connor Clifton.
