PREGAME NOTES

After getting beat at home by the Ducks on Monday, the Bruins will look to right the ship against a stacked Avs team that has won 16 straight games at home. No easy task. 

Matt Grzelcyk remains out due to an upper-body injury, so Urho Vaakanainen will remain on the top pairing with Charlie McAvoy. 

Linus Ullmark will get the start in net for Boston. 

Nick Foligno is ruled out with an upper-body injury and did not travel with the rest of the team on this three-game road trip. Anton Blidh will slot back in the lineup.  

Special teams might be the deciding factor in this one, with Boston capable of keeping up with the Avs’ high-octane offense if it can get a few stints on the power play. Colorado currently ranks 27th in the NHL in PK percentage with a 75.0% success rate.
