PREGAME NOTES
The Bruins will shuffle up their lineup against the Devils. Mike Reilly and Josh Brown will slot in for Derek Forbort and Connor Clifton as Boston's third pairing. Reilly has been a healthy scratch for three straight games, while Brown is set to make his debut with Boston after getting acquired from the Senators last week.
Up front, both Craig Smith (illness) and Nick Foligno (upper-body) will miss Thursday’s game. Marc McLaughlin will make his NHL debut and skate on the third line in place of Smith, while Anton Blidh will replace Foligno on the fourth line.
Linus Ullmark will get the start in net for Boston.
The Devils, who have lost five of their last seven, are in seventh place in the Metro Division with a 24-37-5 record and 53 points.
The Bruins will honor the career of Tuukka Rask, the organization's all-time winningest goalie, with a special pregame puck drop. Rask announced his retirement on Feb. 9, 2022.
