PREGAME NOTES

Brandon Carlo will be a game-time decision for Boston after getting cut by Linus Ullmark’s skate during Saturday’s practice. "He fell on Linus' skate there during the penalty killing drill," Bruce Cassidy said. "He's got a cut, he's gonna get it taken care of. We'll see how he is tonight. Obviously, it will be a comfort thing and how deep is the cut…possible that he may miss (tonight)."

Jack Studnicka and Connor Clifton are both expected back in the lineup after sitting out Thursday night. Studnicka will sub in for Anton Blidh up front, while Clifton took the place of Derek Forbort during morning rushes. Jake DeBrusk will slot down to the fourth line, while Studnicka will center Erik Haula and Nick Foligno.

Ottawa has won two of three since last their shutout loss to Boston last Saturday. including a 3-1 victory over the Sabres on Thursday night. With goaltender Matt Murray out with injury, Anton Forsberg, who has won his last three starts, will get the call between the pipes. Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot will not play due to injury.
