PREGAME NOTES

Brad Marchand will make his return to the lineup on Thursday after completing his six-game suspension. He will return to Boston’s top line with Patrice Bergeron — with Jake DeBrusk slotting in at right wing. The Hall-Haula-Pastrnak line will be reunited, while the Frederic-Coyle-Smith remains intact in the bottom-six unit.

Linus Ullmark will get the start in net against Seattle, while Jeremy Swayman will start on Saturday in San Jose. 

Urho Vaakanainen — a healthy scratch just ahead of Boston’s matchup against Colorado on Monday — stayed in Boston while dealing with a lingering injury. 

The Kraken, who have dropped five games in a row, will be without their top goal-scorer in Jared McCann, who was placed on IR prior to Saturday’s game. Yanni Gourde will also be a game-time decision for the Kraken. Philipp Grubauer will get the start in net.
