Bills Week Rolling Notebook: How big a deal would the loss of Kyle Dugger be?

Safety Kyle Dugger joined running back J.J. Taylor on the Covid-19 list, putting Dugger's availability for Monday's showdown with the Bills very much in doubt.

It does not appear the Patriots have a widespread Covid issue, as every player but Dugger and Taylor were in attendance for Thursday's practice. Both Jamie Collins and Harvey Langhi practiced as the 21-day clock has started on their return from injured reserve.

Other news to start this game week:

• Kicker Quinn Nordin was waived but could quickly be signed back to the practice squad. Always thought the practice squad was his best spot but Patriots are rolling the dice a bit he isn't claimed, but this is a good time to try with teams dealing with injuries and every 53-man spot is valuable dealing with injuries. Nordin has enormous potential, but he was never ready to kick for this team, even when he was the lone kicker on the roster.
• Bill Belichick heaped praise on Bills QB Josh Allen. "It’s just remarkable how good he has become. Last year, this year, he’s built on that, what it was when he came into the league, but he’s really made tremendous improvement and has a lot of command of the offense. They audible a lot. They change things. They, obviously, have a lot of confidence in him. He handles them well on the line. Every other they’ll run a bad play where they run into a bad look or a blitz or something like that. He doesn’t get fooled much by anything. It’s really, really impressive to watch how he’s developed there." We see what you're doing, Bill. ;)
• Forecast for Monday night in Buffalo is not good. Possible snow, huge wind and it will feel like 10 degrees.
