PREGAME NOTES

This will be the Bruins’ first matchup at Bell Centre since Nov. 26, 2019. 

Patrice Bergeron will miss his third straight game with an upper-body injury, with Jack Studnicka set to take over 1C duties once again. Jeremy Swayman will get the start in net for Boston. 

Hampus Lindholm, acquired from Anaheim on Saturday, will not play until Thursday night against Tampa Bay. 

The Habs might be one of the cellar-dwellers in the East, but they’ve actually responded rather well since Martin St. Louis took over as head coach — with Montreal posting a 9-3-2 record in their last 14 games.
