Giardi: Mike's Mock Draft (3.0) - Patriots get their trade opportunity and take it. taken at BSJ Headquarters (Patriots)

(USA Today Adam Cairns)

It is time to unveil my third mock draft. There will be one more on tap. For this one, I barreled through three rounds (102 picks). I made trades. I am picking for every team, considering free agency and short- and long-term needs. This was challenging but fun, and hopefully, it will be a helpful exercise for you at home as I have worked through multiple scenarios over the last few weeks.

Round One

1. Tennessee - Cam Ward (QB, Miami) - Nothing has changed

2. Cleveland - Travis Hunter (WR/CB, Colorado) - Dude has a 4.0 GPA and could be a Pro Bowler at either position, though GM Andrew Berry told us at the Combine they saw Hunter as a WR first.

3. NY Jets (Trade): Abdul Carter (Edge, PSU) - You say the Giants wouldn't do business with the Jets. I say they would to get better (and man, are they desperate). Concerns about Carter's foot — and the GMen have a history of avoiding medical red flags — plus worries about his attitude drive the deal. The Jets give up picks #7, #73, and #145 to move up.

4. Chicago (Trade with NE) - Mason Graham (DT, Michigan) - The Pats want to move back. They get their wish. The Bears did such a nice job in free agency that they gave themselves room to go anywhere. In this instance, they beef up their defensive line after doing the same on the O-line in March. The Pats get picks #10 and #41 and surrender #171 to create fair value on the Rich Hill Modified Trade Chart.

5. Jacksonville - Tyler Warren (TE, PSU) - New Jags GM James Gladstone was part of a Rams front office that made a huge play to get Brock Bowers in last year's draft (and failed) — no need to trade up to grade a squeaky clean prospect.

6. Las Vegas - Ashton Jeanty (RB, Boise State) - Pete Carroll's Marshawn Lynch.

7. NY Giants (Trade) - Armand Membou (T, Missouri) - OL has been a massive problem for years. Membou should help solidify that.

8. Carolina - Jalon Walker (Edge, Georgia) - Baller.

9. New Orleans - Shedeur Sanders (QB, Colorado) - The Saints have done serious work on both Sanders and Jaxon Dart. With news of Derek Carr's shoulder injury potentially costing him the season, there's an urgency to get the most pro-ready prospect of the two.

10. NEW ENGLAND (Trade) - Will Campbell (OL, LSU) - Getting Campbell at 10 is more palatable than at 4. We'll see if he's the answer at left tackle (historical outlier and all that). Campbell has plenty of fans inside the organization, and his football smarts and character are off the charts. He better be in the Quentin Nelson/Zach Martin category if he ends up at guard. Good organizations can find guards in the middle rounds (like how the Pats used to roll).

11. SF - Will Johnson (CB, Michigan) - The 49ers need more than you think.

12. Dallas - Tet McMillan (WR, Arizona) - Desperate to add another playmaker alongside Lamb.

13. Miami - Josh Simmons (LT, OSU) - Teams are all over the joint regarding Simmons' medicals. He started as a RT before moving to LT. The Fins also like Josh Conerly.

14. Indianapolis - Colston Loveland (TE, Michigan)

15. Atlanta - Mike Green (Edge, Marshall) - Had a large contingent at Green's pro day.

16. Arizona - Mykel Williams (Edge, Georgia) - The Cards have a type on the DL, and Williams fits that.

17. NY Giants (Trade) - Jaxson Dart (QB, Ole Miss) - I wouldn't but the Giants get their developmental QB early to work pressure free behind Wilson and Winston. To get the pick from Cincy, they surrender #34, #65 and #105.

18. Seattle - Grey Zabel (OL, ND State)

19. Tampa Bay - Jihaad Campbell (LB, Alabama) - Will he be ready for training camp after labrum surgery right around the Combine?

20. Denver - Matthew Golden (WR, Texas)

21. Green Bay (Trade) - Shemar Stewart (Edge, Texas A&M) - Led the Aggies in QB pressures despite having just 1.5 sacks. The Packers give up picks #23 and #124 to the Steelers for #21 and #229.

22. LA Chargers - Kenneth Grant (DT, Michigan)

23. Buffalo (Trade) - Jahdae Barron (CB, Texas) - The Bills have Christian Benford on one side. Barron could be a nice fit on the other.

24. Miami - Malaki Starks (S, Georgia) - It wouldn't surprise me if Starks became a Pro Bowl-level player.

25. Houston - Kelvin Banks (OL, Texas) - Texans can start Banks inside at guard and then decide if they want to kick him outside to tackle.

26. LA Rams - Nick Emmanwori (S, South Carolina) - Freak show athlete.

27. Baltimore - Derrick Harmon (DT, Oregon) - If Harmon went 10 spots higher, I'd be down with it. He's a disruptive son of a gun.

28. Detroit - Emeka Egbuka (WR, OSU)

29. Washington - Omarion Hampton (RB, UNC) - The Commanders will need to be closers this year, and Hampton can help them.

30. Pittsburgh (Trade) - Walter Nolen (DT, Ole Miss) - Another player who could go much higher. Tremendous upside, but erratic. The Steelers move back for a second time in the draft to secure a second-round pick (gave it up in the Metcalf trade), getting #30, #62, and #169 for #23 and #83.

31. KC - Josh Conerly (T, Oregon) - Can move him inside in the short-term and have him as LT insurance if Moore can't become a real starter.

32. Philadelphia - Donovan Ezeiruaku (Edge, BC) - Howie Roseman loves to stress the passer. Few did it better than the BC standout this past season.

2nd Round

33. Cleveland - Jalen Milroe (QB, Alabama) - It feels like the Browns will take their medicine this year. Milroe has flashes of brilliance (first half vs. Georgia) but needs to be developed.

34. Cincinnati - Tyler Booker (G, Alabama) - Bengals save some money by trading out of the first round and still get a starter.

35. Tennessee - Luther Burden (WR, Missouri)

36. Jacksonville - Tyleik Williams (DT, OSU) - Good football player. Hard to move.

37. Las Vegas - Trey Amos (CB, Ole Miss) - They desperately need a corner after cutting Jack Jones. Amos is smooth and solid.

38. NEW ENGLAND - Donovan Jackson (G, OSU) - What Jackson did for Ohio State this year was remarkable, kicking over from left guard to left tackle after Simmons went down for a National Championship-winning team. Some scouts think he is a tackle. Others believe he should be a guard. That versatility and starting potential gives new OLine coach Doug Marrone options to protect Drake Maye.

39. Chicago - Maxwell Hairston (CB, Kentucky)

40 New Orleans - Mason Taylor (TE, LSU)

41. NEW ENGLAND - Treveyon Henderson (RB, OSU) - Patriots need playmakers. Henderson fits that bill as a runner and receiver — home run potential. Oh, and he is a fit as a third-down back, partly because he is terrific at pass pro (despite not being a bigger back).

42. NY Jets - Elijah Arroyo (TE, Miami)

43. SF - James Pearce (Edge, Tennessee)

44. Dallas - Aireontae Ersery (T, Minnesota)

45. Indianapolis - Corey Schwesinger (LB, UCLA) - Few LBs can run like this kid.

46. Atlanta - Jared Wilson (C, Georgia) - Drew Dalman is gone. Wilson, the best center prospect in the class, gets the nod.

47. Arizona - Azareye’h Thomas (CB, FSU)

48. Miami - Xavier Watts (S, Notre Dame) - Jevon Holland replacement.

49. Cincinnati - J.T. Tuimoloau (Edge, OSU) - The Bengals draft defense. What a novel concept.

50. Seattle - Landon Jackson (Edge, Arkansas)

51. NEW ENGLAND (Trade) - Jayden Higgins (WR, Iowa State) - Some questions about whether Higgins is better suited as a power slot as opposed to an 'X.' That versatility is a benefit in this scenario, and he can fight for outside reps with Boutte/Hawkins/Baker in training camp. Pats swap picks #69 and #106 for #51 and #197 with the Broncos.

52. Seattle - Tate Ratledge (G, Georgia) - One hell of a mullet.

53. Tampa Bay - Shavon Revel (CB, East Carolina) - He was a top-15 pick before his ACL tear.

54. Green Bay - Benjamin Morrison (CB, Notre Dame) - Another likely first-rounder if not for the injuries.

55. LA Chargers - Jack Sawyer (Edge, OSU)

56. Buffalo - Nic Scourton (Edge, Texas A&M) - They continue to look for a defensive closer. Scourton's Purdue tape was explosive. Texas A&M asked him to play heavier and more inside. He's already dropped weight to move back outside. He could be a real find at this spot.

57. Carolina -Jaylin Noel (WR, Iowa State) - It pained me to take Higgins ahead of Noel, but...

58. Houston - Kyle Williams (WR, Washington State) - With no Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell likely out for the year, and an injury-prone Christian Kirk, this makes sense and fits a type.

59. Baltimore - Jonah Savaiinaea (OL, Arizona) - After losing Patrick Mekari in free agency, they add another interior player to protect Lamar and open holes for King Henry.

60. Detroit - Oluwafemi Oladejo (Edge, UCLA) - His best football is ahead of him.

61. Denver (Trade) - Caleb Johnson (RB, Iowa) - Picks #69 and #122 to Washington for #61 and #205.

62. Pittsburgh - Quinshon Judkins (RB, OSU) - Steelers made moves to regain a second-round pick and take a sledgehammer at RB.

63. KC - Darius Alexander (DT, Toledo)

64. Philadelphia - Jalen Royals (WR, Utah State)

Third Round

65. Baltimore (Trade) - Nohl Williams (CB, California) - Ravens need another cornerback, and Williams has the length they crave. Picks #9 and, #129 go to the the Bengals for #65 and a 2026 4th rounder.

66. SF (Trade) - Alfred Collins (DT, Texas) - A thick run stuffer. Picks #75 and #138 to KC for #66.

67. Cleveland - Shemar Turner (DT, Texas A&M)

68. Las Vegas - Tre Harris (WR, Ole Miss) - Not a lot of variety to his route tree.

69. Washington - Princely Unanmielen (Edge, Ole Miss) - Need more pass rush.

70. Jacksonville - Kevin Winston (S, Penn State) - Coming off a torn ACL that cost him the season, but tested like a boss at PSU pro day.

71. New Orleans - Dylan Sampson (RB, Tennessee) - Speed to spare.

72. Cleveland - Josaiah Stewart (Edge, Michigan)

73. NY Giants - Joshua Farmer (DT, FSU)

74. Carolina - Andrew Mukuba (S, Texas)

75. KC - Ozzy Trapilo (T, BC) - Needs to get stronger, but there's some good buzz about the BC product.

76. Dallas - Bradyn Swinson (Edge, LSU) - This kid has a lot of pass-rush juice. Pair him with Micah Parsons and see what happens.

77. NEW ENGLAND - Jacob Parrish (CB, Kansas State) - Nickel corner is a need for this football team with Marcus Jones's injury history. Parrish might be the best in class.

78. Arizona - Marcus Mbow (OL, Purdue) - Is he a tackle? Guard? Center? Don't know, but he's talented.

79. Houston - T.J. Sanders (Edge, South Carolina) - This dude will bull rush anybody at any time. If he's steamrolled a family member or three, it wouldn't surprise me.

80. Indianapolis - Miles Frazier (G, LSU)

81. Cincinnati - Jared Burch (Edge, Oregon)

82. Seattle - Quinn Ewers (QB, Texas)

83. Buffalo - Jeffrey Bassa (LB, Oregon) - The Bills like their linebackers smaller and faster. Bassa fits the bill.

84. Tampa Bay - Ashton Gillotte (Edge, Louisville) - This could be another pass-rush find for the Bucs, who have made a habit of finding gems.

85. Denver - Jack Bech (WR, TCU)

86. LA Chargers - Terrance Ferguson (TE, Oregon)

87. Green Bay - Elic Ayomanor (WR, Stanford)

88. Jacksonville - Darien Porter (CB, Iowa State)

89. Houston - Harold Fannin (TE, Bowling Green) - Duck-footed TE. Not an awesome athlete. But man, he is very crafty and smooth coming in and out of his breaks. Had a terrific game against Penn State last year. The entire offense was built around him.

90. LA Rams - Tyler Shough (QB, Louisville) - Had a great year, was awesome at the Senior Bowl, and would be a nice understudy to Stafford and Garoppolo.

91. Cincinnati - Demetrius Knight (LB, South Carolina) - He is a hammer. Ball carriers and pulling guards are the nails.

92. Seattle - Chris Paul (LB, Ole Miss)

93. New Orleans - Trevor Etienne (RB, Georgia) - Potential Alvin Kamara replacement down the line.

94. Cleveland - Anthony Belton (T, NC State) - There's something there with Belton, but he's not impressed anyone with his level of conditioning.

95. KC - Cam Skattebo - (RB, ASU) - They know they need to do something for that run game. Not fast, but damn productive.

96. Philadelphia - Danny Stutsman (LB, Oklahoma)

97. Minnesota - R.J. Harvey (RB, C. Florida) - Google him. Fun highlight reel.

98. Miami - Quincy Riley (CB, Louisville)

99. NY Giants - Gunnar Helm (TE, Texas)

100. SF - Wyatt Milum (OL, West Virginia)

101. LA Rams - Billy Bowman (DB, Oklahoma) - Pop in this kid's tape. He's 5'9" and change and sub-195 pounds but plays like he's 6'2", 210.

102. Detroit - Jared Ivey (Edge, Ole Miss)
