FOXBOROUGH — Practice No. 3 is in the books, let's run down all you need to know: stats, observations, 3 up/down, etc:
THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Offense stuck: It's still nothing to be alarmed about because it's a compressed area of the field with no threat of a run game, but the passing offense was again clunky. Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe combined to go 15 of 34, but the big problem is the lack of any separation from the targets. Hunter Henry, Juju Smith-Schuster and DeVante Parker have been OK, but they are getting nothing from anybody else.
Matthew Judon becomes more active: It was only five snaps, but Judon participated in team drills for the first time this camp, which was nice to see.
Patriots have day off tomorrow: This seemed to be a ramp down practice a little ahead of an off day. Patriots have one more day in shells before the pads go on Monday.

TOP PLAYS
- I don't really think there was one. Matt Sokol had a nice diving catch, but it was out of bounds.
FOUR UP
Marcus Jones: Thought he had a great day in coverage although his lack of height is an issue at times.
Keion White: The second-round pick has seen his time increase the past two practices and today he showed great burst on his sack. He's standing up at times too.
Hunter Henry: He's been the only consistent standout in the starting passing offense so far.
Demario Douglas: The rookie receiver has really popped on the second team and could be rising.
FOUR DOWN
RT Reilly Reiff: He was smoked for sacks on back-to-back plays by Jennings (speed outside) and White (quick inside).
CB Jon Jones: He was solid overall, but he had two very grabby reps where he would have been flagged.
Receivers: Nobody is getting open in the red zone. There's very little separation. Mike Gesicki, Kendrick Bourne and Tyquan Thornton don't have a catch yet.
Bailey Zappe: Struggled with his touch day as he underthrew or was late on about a handful of passes. Plays were there to be made, and he didn't make them.
QUICK HITS
- Conor McDermott got some starter reps at RT as Reiff continued to struggle.
- Chasen Hines got a lot more work at both LG and RG with the second team. Jake Andrews was the backup center. Sidy Sow still relegated to third team.
- Jack Jones still on second team with no first-team looks.
- Mac Jones and Bill Belichick had a decent chat behind the play at one point while other QBs were playing.
