Hey all, just a couple of quick notes on a few things:
- Our operating system has just undergone a pretty hefty refresh. I don't think users will notice a huge difference but, in the background of the site, the enhancements will help BSJ and us in many different ways. Basically, it should make things a lot more efficient.
- With any updates (and this goes along with changes we get from Apple and Android), there's usually a couple days of working out the kinks/system getting caught up. Appreciate your patience. I'll be taking a look at a lot of things this weekend, so hopefully things are more smooth come Monday.
- If you're having issues, the first thing to do is ... power on/off, make sure the operating system for your browser/device is up to date (THIS WILL FIX MOST ISSUES as all up-to-date platforms have been tested and passed). Then see what's going on.
- Even before this, there have been known Android app issues and an update is about to be released.
- If you are seeing issues, you can let us know in the comments. I'm in constant contact with our tech people.
- IF YOU ARE HAVING ANY ISSUES WITH THE SITE/YOUR MEMBERSHIP ... please use the support page here. Please refrain from sending me or the site an email ... not that I don't love hearing from you guys, but you know how email goes ... you get behind, then you miss stuff. I don't like missing messages and our support system keeps me much more organized.
- I am behind on support emails from the draft/Sox search but WILL catch up this weekend. If you made a request, I will handle it.
- On the Red Sox front, we're making some progress, trying out a few people. Patrick Donnelly will be part of the mix with the Bruins' early exit. Still searching for a veteran baseball scribe, possibly a former player to add as sort of an expert component for Q&As and such. If you think of anyone, drop me a line or comment below.
