BOSTON - JUNE 26: John Beecher carries the puck during a drill during a Boston Bruins development camp at Warrior Ice Arena in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston on June 26, 2019.

The next wave of Bruins talent is set to take to the frozen sheet at Warrior Ice Arena this week, as Boston announced its practice schedule and roster for its 15th annual Development Camp.

The camp, which will be held from Monday through Friday at the Bruins’ practice facility in Brighton, will feature 36 players, including 20 forwards, 12 defensemen, and four goaltenders. The roster includes 30 players within the Bruins organization and six players who will attend on an invite basis.

Here is the full Dev Camp roster:

Forwards: Joseph Abate, John Beecher, Riley Duran, Jamie Engelbert*, Riese Gaber*, Andre Gasseau, Brett Harrison, Oskar Jellvik, Trevor Kuntar, Dans Locmelis, Matias Mantykivi, Marc McLaughlin, Georgi Merkulov, Quinn Olson, Tyler Paquette*, Matthew Poitras, Porter Schachle*, Jake Schmaltz, Cole Spicer, Luke Toporowski

Defensemen: Frederic Brunet, Mike Callahan, Jackson Edward, Ty Gallagher, Grant Gabriele, J.D. Greenway, William Worge Kreu*, Mason Langenbrunner, Mason Lohrei, Ryan Mast, Dustyn McFaul, Jacob Wilson

Goaltenders: Brandon Bussi, Gabriel Carriere*, Reid Dyck, Philip Svedeback

The crown jewels of Boston’s prospect pool — Fabian Lysell and Mason Lohrei — will not be in attendance and not participate in on-ice work, respectively.

Don Sweeney confirmed earlier this week that Lysell is training with Team Sweden for the rescheduled 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship in August, and will not be in Boston for the five-day event.

"We've talked to Fabian Lysell. He's going to the World Juniors in August, so that may be too much on his plate to think about making multiple trips," Sweeney said. "Which means he would take the World Juniors and lead right into time with us and then Rookie Camp and such, which, you know, is an extended period of time. So going back and forth may or may not be beneficial to him."

As for Lohrei, the Ohio State defenseman will be present at camp, but won’t skate after undergoing an offseason knee procedure.

Bruins fans will still be able to get an extended look at a few intriguing prospects from the 2021 draft class — including Brett Harrison, Ryan Mast and Oskar Jellvik. The B’s full 2022 draft classMatthew Poitras, Cole Spicer, Dans Locmelis, Frederic Brunet, Reid Dyck and Jackson Edward — will all take part in Dev Camp.

College free-agent signing Georgi Merkulov should provide plenty of highlights during scrimmages, while an invitee like Riese Gaber who we identified as a potential college UFA target back in February — can also string together some impressive shifts in the O-zone.
