PREGAME NOTES

The Bruins will once again be shorthanded on their blue line — as both Brandon Carlo and Kevan Miller are expected to miss Monday’s contest at TD Garden. Jarred Tinordi will remain in the lineup in place of Carlo. 

As for up front, the Bruins will make one tweak on their third line — with Karson Kuhlman slotting in for Jake DeBrusk. No other changes for the B’s — who are looking to break a 2-2 deadlock and put the Islanders on the ropes.
