Fourth quarter

• We are now in extended garbage time. They are now up to 48 3-point attempts, their second highest of the season (55). The 21 makes are their third-highest (23, 22)

• Marcus Smart has come out of the half looking for his own shot a bit. He started with a banked-in 3


• The Celtics pushed their lead up to 19 but there has been a little bit of sloppiness here that is concerning


• The Celtics are firing away from 3. Their post-All-Star focus on the deep ball is really taking hold. with 2:24 to go in the quarter, half of Boston's 32 baskets are 3's. 38 of their 63 attempts are from 3.


• Jayson Tatum has scored 15 points in the quarter, including a buzzer-beating 3.


• Boston shot 8-14 from deep in the quarter, nearly doubling their total from the first half (10)

• The Celtics open the second on a 9-2 run which included a Romeo Langford 3-pointer, his first basket of the season.


• Evan Fournier has been making plays on both ends so far. He's up to 8 points off the bench.


• Make that 12 for Fournier, who is up to 9 straight 3-pointers made. The last one was also a 4-point play.


• The shooting has leveled off. Boston is 8-19 from 3, Charlotte is now 4-9


• The Celtics suddenly got pretty casual and Charlotte responded with a quick 9-3 run. Boston saw a couple of 3-pointers blocked by Bismack Biyombo and the Hornets get some easy baskets at the rim


• The Celtics had a nice response, going on an 11-4 run to close the quarter and ending on a great Marcus Smart 3-pointer at the buzzer after a super-aggressive push by Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum

• Terry Rozier is getting going early for Charlotte. He hit two early 3-pointers and has combined with Miles Bridges to score 11 of Charlotte's first 13 points.


• Boston is running things through Robert Williams. He's finished a couple of dunks early on.
