Absolutely unreal.
Studnicka with a shorthanded breakaway. He led the AHL with seven shorthanded tallies last season.
B's kill it off.

PREGAME NOTES:
The Bruins held an optional skate on Friday, but Bruce Cassidy did note that Boston's D corps will remain the same from Wednesday's shootout loss to the Caps. Jaroslav Halak will get the start in net for the Bruins, who are currently tied with the Flyers for third place in the East with 27 points.
No updates on Charlie Coyle, who remained on the NHL's COVID Protocol list as of Thursday night. An updated list should be announced around 5 p.m. tonight.

After getting into multiple kerfuffles with Alex Ovechkin and other Capitals skaters on Wednesday, don't be surprised if Trent Frederic is in line for another physical night against Washington.
“I think when I dropped them, he went into the boards weird,” Frederic said of dropping the gloves against Ovechkin on Wednesday. “When he got up he wasn’t happy about it. The read I got was ‘I don’t know if you want to fight me’ or what, so that was the read I had. Maybe came off a little quick, but just kind of protecting myself at the same time too.”

Expect the bad blood to continue to boil between these two clubs, especially considering that all Alex Ovechkin got for spearing Frederic below the belt was a $5,000 fine.
