BSJ Weekend Briefing: Patriots welcome Kyler, Cardinals; Hayward saga; Revs look for another upset taken at BSJ Headquarters (Regular Features)

(Olindo Longo for BSJ)

Good afternoon, and hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Your daily rundown of what's going on with the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Revolution, and what's about to happen...

  • Patriots are back to work today. No Isaiah Wynn for third-straight practice, so we're likely to see another line dance with Jermaine Eluemunor involved. One interesting possible combination: LT Joe Thuney, LG Michael Onwenu, RT Eluemunor.

  • Not really going to matter unless the Patriots have an answer for the NFL's most dangerous weapon: Kyler Murray. He's dealing with a shoulder injury, so you know he'll be out there. He didn't run as much after hurting his shoulder against Seattle.

  • We talked about that and much, much more in the holiday edition of the Patriots podcast.

  • Gordon Hayward will in Charlotte at some point, right?

  • A couple of 3 p.m. chats today. Me and Conor.

  • Revolution look to keep their impossible dream going against Orlando on Sunday. With all their DPs in the lineup, anything is possible.

  • Covid outbreaks continue across the NFL. I'm sure this is Cam's fault.
