Patriots looked like they were seconds away from doing what they always do — beat the Bills in Buffalo — but Cam Newton was stripped by reserve DT Justin Zimmer at the Bills' 14-yard line with 31 seconds left.

• Not having Cody Ford and Michael Hyde is tough for the Bills. Vernon Butler would have been a person to attack in the running game.
