PREGAME NOTES: 

The Bruins will look to keep their season alive on Monday night, with Boston attempting to stave off elimination in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Lightning. 

With a win, the Lightning will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the fifth time since 2011. Boston has been outscored by Tampa, 11-2, over the last seven periods of play. 

Teams that have a 3-1 lead are 284-29 all-time in a best-of-seven NHL series, including 6-0 this postseason. The Bruins have never won a playoff series while trailing 3-1 in a best-of-seven set. 

Bruce Cassidy said that both Sean Kuraly and Nick Ritchie will be game-time decisions tonight. Kuraly has missed the last two games due to injury. Chris Wagner will not play due to injury. If both Kuraly and Ritchie are ruled out, you could see Jack Studnicka and Anders Bjork draw into the lineup. 

Tampa head coach Jon Cooper did not offer an update on the status of defenseman Ryan McDonagh ahead of puck drop. Tampa’s top shutdown defenseman has not appeared in this series since Game 1.
