Despite being labeled as “unfit to participate” during Monday’s practice, both David Pastrnak and Tuukka Rask are expected to play in Game 1. 

Dougie Hamilton will be a game-time decision after missing the qualifying round against the Rangers. A decision on his status will be made based on how well he feels following warmups. Carolina has yet to announce a starting goalie.
