- The Bruins will look to snap their two-game losing streak when they host the Stars on Thursday night. The Stars, who are 6-0-2 in their past eight road games, have won their past two games and are 7-1-1 in their past nine.
- Ondrej Kase will make his Bruins debut and skate on a reshuffled second line next to David Krejci and Nick Ritchie. With Ritchie getting bumped up, Jake DeBrusk has been demoted to the third line with Charlie Coyle and Anders Bjork. Jaroslav Halak will get the start in net. The B’s backup goalie is 5-0-0 in his past five starts, allowing a total of eight goals during that stretch.
