Jayson Tatum continued his All-NBA level play in Salt Lake City, piling up 33 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Celtics to a convincing 114-103 victory over a reeling Jazz squad. Jaylen Brown added 20 points and 6 rebounds while Marcus Smart added 17 points and 9 assists to help the visitors close out their west coast trip with a victory and overcome 37 points from Donovan Mitchell.
Boston finishes their west coast swing with an impressive 3-1 record with all four games coming without Kemba Walker and closed within one game of the Raptors in the race for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics now head home for two days of rest before hosting the Rockets Saturday night in a nationally televised showdown.
