- After getting blown out by the Canucks on Saturday night in Vancouver, the Bruins will look to right the ship with a home matchup against the Flames on Tuesday. Even with that 9-3 defeat, the Bruins have still won 11 of their last 13 games.
- Nick Ritchie will make his debut with the Bruins on Tuesday, skating at left wing on a third line with Charlie Coyle and Anders Bjork. Par Lindholm will return to the lineup and skate on a fourth line with Sean Kuraly and Chris Wagner, while Tuukka Rask will get the start in net. Rask will try to extend his home point streak to 21 games, which would break Tiny Thompson's Bruins record (20-0-0 in 1929-30). Rask is 14-0-6 at home this season.
- The Flames, who fell to Boston in a wild 4-3 seesaw match on Friday up in Calgary, should have defenseman Mark Giordano back in the lineup. The reigning Norris Trophy winner has missed the last nine games due to a lower-body injury.
