PREGAME NOTES:

  • The Boston Bruins will try for their sixth straight win when they play the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena on Saturday. The Canucks, who have been hit by the injury bug as of late, have lost two straight (0-1-1) and are 2-4-2 in their past eight games.

  • Boston will make no changes up front after posting a 4-3 win over the Flames on Friday night. The lone switch might be on defense, as Jeremy Lauzon has been tabbed as a game-time decision after blocking a shot against Calgary during a PK shift. If the young blueliner isn’t cleared, John Moore will get the nod. Tuukka Rask will get the start in net.
