- The Boston Bruins will look for their fourth straight win when they play the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place on Wednesday. Boston is 9-1-0 in its past 10 games and remains just one point ahead of the Tampa Bay Lightning for first place in the Atlantic Division and NHL standings. Edmonton has a chance take sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division tonight and have won two straight games.
- While the Bruins’ lineup will not undergo any changes from the last couple of games (with Tuukka Rask in net), the Oilers are going to be severely shorthanded on Wednesday. Connor McDavid will miss his fifth straight game with a left quad injury, while defenseman Oscar Klefbom is also out 2-3 weeks with a shoulder injury.
