A few random thoughts while I wonder what the Red Sox owners will say about this trade at the usual picnic table sessions...
- The Red Sox and the Dodgers finally found a way to salvage their Mookie Betts/David Price deal with the inclusion of shortstop Jeter Downs and catcher Connor Wong.
- Word on the street is the Red Sox will announce the manager today, but we all know how that goes.
- Chaim Bloom wants the Red Sox to be the Dodgers? Sounds good to me ... but why couldn't this have been done years ago?
- If Tom Brady thinks he's going to take a tour like Peyton Manning, or make a power move like Brett Favre ... he might just be left with retirement as his only option.
- Big win for the Celtics against OKC.
- Brad Stevens went right after a Thunder weak spot to win that one.
- I like the sound of this Josh Anderson guy for the Bruins. Bring some snarl.
- What's the deal with the Bruins losing to the Red Wings, repeatedly? Do they think Stevie Y is still playing?
