PREGAME NOTES:

The Bruins Bruins will try for their seventh straight victory when they play the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday. Boston has outscored its opponents, 21-7, during this winning streak. Meanwhile, Detroit has lost 10 of its past 11 games and have been outscored, 42-15, during that stretch.

Boston’s blue line could be re-shuffled on Sunday. While Brandon Carlo is expected to return to the lineup after missing Saturday’s game due to personal reasons, Jeremy Lauzon’s status is now up in the air. Lauzon was given a first-period match penalty for an illegal check to Coyotes center Derek Stepan's head on Saturday. Lauzon is scheduled to have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Sunday. John Moore also exited Saturday’s game late due to injury, but his current status is TBD.
