Good afternoon!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if Bill Belichick has a Super Bowl party with favors...
- Programming note: If you're looking for Viner's Quest, he had a last-minute family outing so he couldn't get to it today.
- Obviously the loss of his hero will continue to hang over Jayson Tatum, but Thursday was a good day for him ... named an all-star for the time, and then led the Celtics to a victory over the Warriors.
- Gordon Hayward with some interesting comments to B-Robb.
- Getting to the final stages of our 2019 Patriots review ... no, the personnel moves weren't great, but it still almost didn't matter because the season was a success.
- Super Bowl on Sunday night ... will have my pick tomorrow.
- Elementary school ... I mean, the NHL, is finally back from its second vacation in the past month, and the Bruins are in Winnipeg. No David Backes, but Tuukka is back.
- Feels like the Mookie Betts deal could be completed at any time. It's way too quiet on that front. I don't mind what either side is doing, but the Red Sox should have traded Mookie last year and received more for him.
