PREGAME NOTES:
- Zdeno Chara is expected to play in his 1,000th career games with the Bruins on Monday, becoming just the sixth player in franchise history to accomplish the feat — joining Ray Bourque, Johnny Bucyk, Patrice Bergeron, Don Sweeney, and Wayne Cashman.
- Aside from Jaroslav Halak getting the start in net, not too many changes in the B’s lineup, as Matt Grzelcyk is cleared to return to game action after only logging 1:27 of ice time on Saturday against the Islanders. He was slashed in the back of the leg by New York’s Derick Brassard.
- The Flyers are just 2-5-1 in their past eight games, but have thrived on home ice this year, posting a 14-3-4 record at Wells Fargo Center this season.
