They had shown an interest in reuniting with Travis Shaw...but Shaw ended up signing with Toronto. The Sox had talked to Rich Hill about returning to Boston...but Hill ended up agreeing to a one-year deal with the Minnesota Twins. And there are reports that Massachusetts native Steve Cishek would like to sign with the Sox...but his asking price is thought to be too high, at least for the time being. What's going on?
