PREGAME NOTES:
- The Bruins will look to extend their win streak to three games and their overall point streak to seven contests on Sunday night. Patrice Bergeron will try to become just the second Bruins player in franchise history to score multiple goals in four straight games (Phil Esposito, 1973-74).
- The Sabres, who are 1-4-1 in their last six games, will likely rely on Jack Eichel to snap them out of this recent skid. The North Chelmsford native has tallied 11 points in seven career games at TD Garden.
- The Bruins will still be without Torey Krug and Charlie McAvoy for the second game in a row. Krug skated on Sunday but will likely miss Tuesday’s game against New Jersey. McAvoy did not skate on Sunday.
- Up front, Brett Ritchie will return to the lineup and skate on the third line with Charlie Coyle and Anders Bjork, while Sean Kuraly will slot back down and center the fourth line with Chris Wagner and Joakim Nordstrom.
