Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder what Tom Brady was thinking watching Drew Brees breaking more records Brady should own...
- People wondered why the Patriots released Josh Gordon when they didn't have many receivers ... and now we know. Gordon was again suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL/NFLPA policies on substances of abuse and, this time, PEDs.
- Yeah, the Patriots didn't release Gordon for no reason. I don't know if they knew a suspension was coming — the league doesn't tell you because it's a private matter; Gordon would need to tell the team — but they at least observed he wasn't going in a positive direction.
- Mr. Patriot, Tedy Bruschi, said things on Sunday that a lot of rational Patriots fans feel about this latest episode.

- Don't really have much to add to what I said yesterday, which is in line with Bruschi. This just looks bad, regardless of whether it was intentional or not (I don't think it was).
- Celtics have lost Rob Williams for a while.
- Bruins have a couple of openings that they need to fill before they host the Kings tonight.
