Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder if this is how the other half lives...
- Well, it was bound to happen. The Bruins have lost five straight. The Celtics and Patriots are on two-game skids. Weird.
- And if it's felt like a long time since this has happened ... it's been a long time since this happened.
- That was right before all the Boston sports teams took off. Hopefully, that's not a bad sign or anything.
- There's no way that in-bounds play to Jaylen Brown should have been left up to the officials. Brad Stevens should have taken a timeout when the Sixers showed that much pressure. That's a coaching fail.
- Tough close to the game from Jayson Tatum.
- Bruce Cassidy is facing the biggest challenge of his young Bruins coaching career. It's like the post-Cup hangover has all of a sudden hit. They just can't start games well.
- Please don't mention the name Antonio Brown ever again.
- The US Presidents Cup team looked like it might be run out of the joint before making a late run. I'm kind of sick of Patrick Reed, who blatantly cheated last week and then acted like the victim. Not the first time for that guy.
- I'm guessing Patriots fans, after watching the Ravens roll again last night, are preparing for an AFCCG in Baltimore. Forget Lamar, the Ravens defense hasn't given up more than 20 points in their past nine games.
