A host of noteworthy updates leading into the C's showdown with the Sixers at the Garden on Thursday night. Let's walk through them and what they mean for the present and future.
1. Marcus Smart and Rob Williams ruled out vs Sixers: It's the third straight game both guys will miss as Smart battles an eye infection and Williams struggles with hip soreness. While it's safe to count on Smart being back for next week after five more days off to clear out the infection, the same can't be said for Williams who did not travel with the team to Indy and was still being evaluated by team doctors as of the last update. 2. Gordon Hayward ruled probable vs. Sixers: A bit of relief for the franchise with the snake-bitten forward when it comes to injuries. Hayward took a scary hit to the nose from Doug McDermott last night that left him with a headache and dazed. After being cleared from concussion symptoms in Indiana last night, it appears he woke up feeling pretty good this morning as he's been ruled probable by the team.
