BSJ Daily Briefing 12.03.19: Pats-Texans fallout, Bruins return to action taken at BSJ Headquarters (Regular Features)

(Getty Images)

Good morning!

  • Lots to dissect from the Pats' ugly loss to the Texans on Sunday night and Bedard has you covered with his breakdown. Will be interesting to see how the receiving core bounces back from this one with another tough test looming against the Chiefs on Sunday.

  • The defense will be tested as well against a Kansas City offense that did pretty much what it wanted to against the Raiders on Sunday. This team clearly can't afford to get into a shootout right now with the way the offense is looking.

  • Celtics will be back at practice today and we should get an update on the status of Gordon Hayward who met with the doctor yesterday. Marcus Smart may also be sidelined for a bit after his oblique injury, which may mean more Brad Wanamaker in the interim.

  • Farewell Sandy Leon.

  • Cool to see David Backes bouncing back after such a tough year.
