BSJ Daily Briefing 11.12.19: Celtics win again; Jimmy G, Niners fall to Seattle; B's host Florida

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wonder if Joe Tessitore is still trying to overdramatize the end of last night's game...

• The undermanned Celtics won again against the Mavs to run their record to 8-1.


• Kemba Walker is just the man in the second half. There has to be some cool nickname for this, right people who came up with King in the Fourth?


• Gordon Hayward elected for surgery.


• Torey Krug is also hurt ... but no excuses, the Bruins need to start playing better tonight against the Panthers.


• How do the Patriots stack up with the Ravens coming up?


• The 49ers fell in overtime to the Seahawks.


• Some Patriots fans will gleefully point out Jimmy G's rough outing ... but it was a typical division game against a good defense. Tom Brady wasn't exactly The GOAT against the Bills.


• Plus, his line sucked and his receivers couldn't catch.


• Good story by my buddy Steve Politi: He told a kid to slide in a junior varsity baseball game. Then he got sued. The seven-year legal odyssey that followed threatened to change youth sports for all of us.
