Good morning!
A few random thoughts while I wonder what the baseline is or isn't anymore...
- The NFL trade deadline came and went on Tuesday without much of anything, after several teams, including the Patriots, made deals in the weeks prior;
- I still think this is the wrong move for several teams (Bengals, Bucs, Redskins) but they have GMs who often signed the possibly traded players and they have to answer to ownership. Plus, many teams factor in comp picks ... so unless you're getting more than that, why trade an asset?
- Patriots also have a new kicker ...
- I broke down the Browns win ... Thought Tom Brady played excellent on a tough night for the offensive line.
- Bruins blasted the Sharks. It was Hockey Fights Cancer Night and a good story came out of it.
- Big game for the Celtics tonight against the Bucks, but they won't have Enes Kanter.
- Bad call last night in Game 6. I don't care what the letter of the rule is ... you can't reward a bad throw, and bad stretch by the first baseman.
- Well, at least it helped give us a Game 7.
Time to hit the links...
