5:32: Final: Bruins beat Chicago, 8-2. Boston ends the preseason with a record of 4-0-2.

5:23: DeBrusk with a hat trick of his own. 8-1 Bruins.

5:00: Pastrnak with the hat trick. 7-1 Bruins. Sick feed from Krug to Pastrnak.

4:56: Third period is underway. Rask remains in net.

4:38: End Second: Bruins lead, 6-1. Goals so far: DeBrusk (x2), Pastrnak (x2), Kuhlman and Coyle.

4:28: The rout is on. Karson Kuhlman makes it a 6-1 game.

4:03: Blackhawks will have a 5-on-3 for 1:29. Bjork and Kuhlman in the box.

3:42: This game is pretty much over. 4-0 Bruins off of another two goals from DeBrusk & Pastrnak.

David Krejci will not play in the game due to a lower-body injury he suffered on Monday. … Joakim Nordstrom (foot) will also not play and will have sat out of every preseason contest. ... One matchup to keep tabs on today is the battle for a roster spot between Anders Bjork and Brett Ritchie — Bjork has been much more effective, but the Notre Dame can be sent down to the AHL without going through waivers.
