Bedard's Weekend Briefing 08.16.19: Patriots wrap up Titans practices, Red Sox welcome Orioles

Good morning!

A few random thoughts while I wonder what Tom Brady had engraved on the trophy he gave to Mike Vrabel...

• Had to be either: "Titans 34, Patriots 10 — You did a really, really good job" or "Titans 34, Patriots 10 — Keep winning games in November, I'll keep winning in February."


• Patriots had some issues in Detroit two weeks ago. I didn't have any of those feelings after these two days. The Patriots dominated Tennessee.


• One under-the-radar thought I had: Dontrelle Inman has really come on in the past 10 days or so after coming back from injury. He's pretty good. And if there's anyone who might make a late push for a roster, it's him.


• Some good footage here of Patriots CBs vs. Titans WRs.


• Until Bill Belichick or Malcolm Butler finally answers the question, we'll keep asking it.


• NBA trade rules are complicated.


• Big road trip for Revolution.
