ALLEN PARK, Mich. — They just started to get into the team drills here outside of Motown. We'll try to bring you the highlights when we can (there's usually double-barrel action going on with both fields):
- The Lions' offensive line starters got the best of the Patriots' pass rushers in 1-on-1s. But local favorite Chase Winovich had a great, quick inside move, Derek Rivers and Deatrich Wise (twice) were big winners for the Patriots. Good bounceback day from Wise.
- Rex Burkhead remains out. Patrick Chung is back.
- Kickoffs are going on now.
- Patriots starting offense had a terrible 7 on 7 in the red zone. Brady threw one into the back of a LB and then was picked off by same player. Then Brady threw two out of bounds.
- Ryan Allen had a punt blocked with Bentley as personal protector. Don't think Patricia liked the contact.
- Bailey had two good punts around the 5-yard line.
